Batting first, Snaresbrook ran in to Liddiard and Stone again, as they were bowled out for 183, R Patel with a fine 52 and B Field 45 both batted well in a total that Belhus would have taken at the start of play. P Stone picked up 4 for 48 from 12.1 overs and S Liddiard 4 for 60 from 19 0vers, whilst J Roberston picked up 1 for 30.

In reply, Behus lost a quick wicket in R Dopson, but that brought W Read to the crease to join M Guilbert and they put on 87, when W Read fell for his 45 which included 9 fours. Guilbert continued and scored what would be a match-winning 70, also with 9 fours, but when he fell at 148 for 3 there was still work to be done and we made hard work of it but we finally secured the win, much credit must go to the opening attack of Snaresbrook who bowled beautifully in trying to win the game for the home side. I Younis, picked up 2 for 40 from 15.5 overs with 3 maidens, and a special mention must go to J Swailes, showing again what a very good bowler he his, with figures of 18 overs, 8 maidens, 4 wickets for 28 runs.
