Belhus lost convincingly to Chadwell Heath in this league game. Batting first we set 190 for 7 from our 54 overs, as Heath bowled well. After losing a couple of wickets, W Read 35 and D Cayless 38 got us back on track with the score at 34, T Lincoln chipped in, in the middle with 21 and a late rally from B Edwards with a good 33 not out and 21 not out from Rob Waters (with a rare 6 in his innings), saw us up to what we thought was a reasonable total. T Gallagher was the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 64 from 18 overs.

In reply, Chadwell Heath cruised to victory, thanks to an excellent 96 not out from Ian Gallagher, shame he didn't reach his hundred, as it was much deserved. He was backed up by J Oram 34 and M Bottom 39, as they reached the total in only 38 overs in what was a very good win and a good day for the Gallagher brothers.
