Belhus could not have gotten off to a worse start in this away game against Trojans at Garons Park, when our strike bowler S.Liddiard got lost and could not find the ground. We ended up playing with 10 men.

Batting first, K.Grant took full advantage of us being a bowler down and scored a lovely 90 not out to set his side's total of 175 for 6 in their 54 overs, as our reduced attack bowled very well in restricting Trojans, P Stone, S Bayford and Rob Waters doing the hard work and bowling 50 overs between them, Stone with 1 for 46 from 16 overs, Bayford 3 for 53 from 14 and Waters picking up 2 for 48 off his 20 overs.

In reply M Guilbert continued his good form with a patient 58, as he lead the way, as Read fell for 30.
It was, just a shame the other batsmen couldn't do the same and we fell some 42 runs short, as the Trojans attack bowled very well, G Savage and W Fowlds the pick, both grabbing 3 wickets each in the win.
