After being put in to bat, Trojans reached 197 for 9 in their maximum 54 overs, as our bowlers bowled well, and if it wasn't for M Clarke's 87, who batted ever so well, the total would have been a lot lower and who knows maybe the result too. K Hall was the pick of our attack with 4 for 37 off 14 overs.

Our reply never got going and wickets kept falling. At 94 for 7 we were in deep trouble, the only real resistance to the Trojan attack coming from G Werry 24, M Winter 22 and Rob Waters 22, but when Rob fell that signalled the end of the game, as P Coste then took the last 3 wickets for 0 runs, with 4 balls of the innings left, to end up with match-winning figures of 16.2 overs 4 maidens 6 for 35, as we fell way short, thanks to his efforts and that of Clarke's earlier with he bat.
