Roding Valley won the toss and stuck Belhus in, and bowled well to restrict us to 191, as W Read hit a good 51 with 8 fours and D Cayless a very good 60 and was the last wicket to fall. P Glasgow and J Mack both bowled big spells and very well, Glasgow picking up 3 for 62 and Mack starring with 5 for 51 off 16 overs.
Belhus toiled away for the win in the reply, no more so than Paul Stone who bowled 17 overs with 3 maidens and taking 5 for 57, but it was to be in vain as the game fizziled out into a draw. D Hyde 40* batted well.
