After being put in to bat, Belhus reached 195 for 6 in their 45 overs, with thanks to a solid 43 from Rich Waters and much needed 38* from Keith Hall at the end with help from C Adams 14*. Earlier in the innings Lambert and Winter both got themselves in, but failed to go on with 23 and 22 respectively. M Stols the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 17 off 9.

Belhus bowled well and tight in the reply, and Theydon Bois were struggling at 67 for 5 off 19 overs when the weather changed and set in for the rest of the day and the game was rained off, leaving F.Spies 30* and C Forster 12* stranded, but a long, long way from home.
