Match report Belhus beat Pegasus By 3 wickets in the Hanicap 16 8 ball over Thurrock Knock Out Semi Final. Belhus (30) Pegasus (40).

Batting first Pegasus set us a target of 191 for 8, most batsmen chipping in with runs, J.Bennett 15, BFrancis 24, S.Guthrie 19 and S.Francis 22, but it was N.Gray with a good 47 leading the way. Steve Liddiard was our best bowler picking up 3 fo 34.

In reply, Belhus chased the total down with only 2 balls to spare, in what turned out to be a thrilling game at North Stifford.
Wickets fell just when Belhus didn't want them to and with the score at 172 for 7, Rob Waters joined Wayne Read at the crease, with 20 runs still required to win off 2 overs. As Rob worked the strike to Wayne, we needed 9 from the last over. Tension mounted and with 3 balls to go, Wayne hit the 4 that saw us home to another Final and finish with an excellent 67*, Tony Linclon 17 and Scott Bayford 18 also assisting. M.Cairns picked up 3 for 46 and J.Hicks for 42.
