Match report Belhus lost away to Brookweald in this Sunday friendly

Batting first, Brookweald were restricted to 164, thanks to some excellent bowling from S.Bayford, with an 18-over spell picking up 3 for 61. J.Robertson also bowled 16 overs, 1 for 54. Thn after all their hard work, T.Lincoln and J.Banner came on to clean up, Lincoln picked up 4 for 20 and Banner 2 for 16. P.Lee 34, D.Maxfield 54 and M.Pratt 46 the run-getters.

After tea, Belhus kept losing wickets and were never really in the hunt and when Read fell for 45, the score was 72 for 7 and the game seemed a long way off. Some resistance from Banner 12, Winter 22, Lincoln 17 and Robertson 10 gave us hope, but we ended up falling 26 short.
