Match report Belhus beat Broomfield by 70 runs in this Sunday friendly.

Batting first, Belhus scored 203 for 7, thanks to J.Banner 43, W.Read 36*, a quick-fire 19 from P.Huckstepp and a lovely 46 from Scott Bayford in which he hit 24 in one over, all six balls being dispatched for four, in what we think was the fist time in the club's history.

In reply, Broomfield struggled to cope with the Belhus attack, as Richard Dopson, Stuart Morris and Tom Thompson all battled it out to be the pick of the bowlers, but it turned out to be an excellent combined effort, as they all picked up 3 wickets, Dopson 3 for 17, Morris, 3 for 13 and Thompson 3 for 1, securing the win.
