Chevening Amblers v Belhus Cricket Club Saturday 4th XI on Sat 02 Jun 2007 at 1pm
Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 194 Runs
Match report
Chevening Amblers 212-5
Belhus 4th XI 16
Without a Readers South Thames League match, we continued our association with Kent clubs with a visit to Chevening.
The hosts posted a respectable total of 212 for 6 from their allotted 45 overs as Mark Challis top-scored with 86 not out.
Unfortunately, Chevening Amblers were far too strong for us. After tea, not one of our batsmen was able to reach double figures (5 ducks) as we simply capitulated to 16 all out.
