In this midweek match against South Walsham (on tour from Norfolk) we batted first and posted a respectable total of 204 for 6 thanks largely to a superb 87 from our opener Tony Lincoln. Woods was the lead wicket-taker for South Walsham with 3 for 40.

In the run-chase after tea, Andy Scales (42) and Graham Yallop (46) batted well to see their side home to a 1-wicket win in what was an exciting finish in a match played in fine sporting spirit.
