Belhus batted first at the small Shenfield Ground and posted a respectable total of 244 all out after Martin Guilbert was unfortunately dismissed on 99. Austin bowled superbly to take 5 for 27.

In the run-chase after tea, Belhus were in the driving seat with Shenfield perched on 194 for 8, but a terrific 9th wicket partnership of 51 between Salisbury and James Kliber saw them home to a 2 wicket win.

Belhus really let this match slip through their fingers but well played Shenfield.
