In sight of the magnificent, 12th century Leeds Castle, Belhus won the toss and elected to bat but were soon in trouble with the score perched at 53 for 5. But enter George Brooks (58) and Brian Edwards (61) who forged a fantastic 6th wicket partnership of 112 that enabled their team to reach 172 for 9 at the end of the allotted 40 overs.

After tea, Tony Ellis took an early wicket but then Pearce (82) and O'Connell (84*) put on 129 for the 2nd wicket, and that was the end of that! We lost by 7 wickets. Well played Leeds & Bellingham.
