This was the final match of the 2008 season. We batted first and posted a relatively modest total of 160 for 7 from our allotted 40 overs - thanks only to opener Michael Cansdale who stroked a dogged 61.

After tea, our spinners were in top form as Brian Edwards and Owen Jefferies captured 3 wickets apiece and Cliff Cansdale took 2 for 9 from 4 overs to see us home to a comfortable 36 runs victory.

Well played Belhus - a nice way to finish the season.
