Gus Philpot became the youngest batsman in the club's history to score a hundred in an open-age match as he carried his bat for a magnificent (121*). Further contributions of (59) from Michael Cansdale, (42) from Wayne Read and a cameo 26 not out from Keith Dhannie allowed Belhus to climb to 279 from their 40 overs.

In reply, Mayfield made a good stab at the total, however they fell 69 short as Henry Overy bowled superbly to claim 4-38 off his 8 overs. While there were 2 wickets a piece for Keith Dhannie and young Brandon Millard.
