Belhus batted first in this 40 over Sunday friendly and posted a very competitive 214, as Adam Dudmish (59) Robert Healy (21) and Teddy Waters (21) all got in, but failed to build on their fine starts.
With wickets falling regularly and the good work seemingly been undone at 110 for 7 in the 25th over, captain Wayne Read came to the crease and steadied the ship with help from Henry Overy and Tyler Robertson, as the two partnerships yielded 104 runs.

After Tea, the young Belhus attack took to the task of defending the 214 and defend they did, all producing excellent bowling figures, with their immaculate lines and lengths. Henry Overy 8-2-17-2 and Mohammad Khalid Mosazai 8-2-20-2 the pick of them, as they kept North Weald's batsmen under wraps to secure their second successive victory, as North Weald fell 63 runs short in their 40 overs, in what proved to be a good game on a lovely afternoon at North Stifford.
