Match report On the hottest day of the summer so far, Belhus batted first against the old Hainault & Clayhall CC, now rebranded as Frenford...due to their move to a new ground.

Belhus were soon in trouble at 25 for 4, with Khan (4 for 37) bowling very well with the new ball. Read (33) and Sansom (82) then joined forces to try and repair the damage and did so with a partnership of 95. The pair batted very well, showing great determination.
At 185 for 6 with overs still remaining, Belhus were nicely placed but poor shot selection limited them to 195 all out.

In reply, in the baking heat, Frenford stumbled to 95 for 4 and were struggling. But a partnership of 103 for the 5th wicket settled matters.

A disappointing result for Belhus.
