Match report Belhus batted first under a warm sun, on a dry, well-grassed pitch which offered plenty of bounce to the Buckhurst Hill attack. Early wickets left Belhus precariously positioned at 25 for 2 and 97 for 6, only Hefferman offering real resistance with 45. The late order of Darrell (38 not out), Imran (20) and Deepak (24 not out, including a lovely straight six) pushed Belhus up to 189 at tea.

In reply, Buckhurst Hill's openers batted aggressively and well to put on 82 for the 1st wicket and then 87 for the 3rd wicket to take advantage of some very wayward bowling. Solomonides batted well for 88 not out. The away team fully deserved their win on an off day for Belhus.
