In the first round of the National Club Championship (the club's first-ever entry into the nationwide competition), we restricted Hartley Country Club (Kent) to 160 for 8 off of their allotted 40 overs. Benjamin Chaplehow was HCC's top-scorer with 49 not out while Joe Joyce, Matt Doran and Matt Williams took 2 wickets apiece.

In our run-chase, Zak Wilson (84) and Matt Doran (61 not out) made light work of the required target as we chased down the runs in just 25 overs to enable us to win comfortably by 9 wickets.

And in the second round on 12th May, we travel to Kent again - this time to meet Bickley Park CC.
