Mike Cansdale made a fine 81 including 13 fours and 2 sixes and this was the highlight of the Belhus trip to the old County Ground at Gravesend. Belhus bowled first and the young attack worked hard to keep the home side to 237-6. Tyler Robertson was the pick of the attack with 2-16 from 7 overs. There was also two wickets for Charlie Ovey and one for the lone senior bowler Alan Maidment. Ewan Day and Rob Healy held two catches and Ovey pouched one. Mo top scored for the hosts with 58 and Myon made 40.

The Belhus reply was led by Cansdale and there were contributions of 21 not out from Henry Overy and 20 from Teddy Waters as Belhus stood up to a fine bowling attack and nobly batted their overs. An enjoyable friendly which proved another good step on the Belhus young players learning curve with six of the side aged 16 or younger.
