Match report Belhus ended their tour with another defeat on another stiflingly hot day as they visited the SCG to play Sprowston. Belhus batted first and posted a decent total of 235 for 8 from their 40 overs. Wayne Read top scored with 60, Mike Cansdale made a fine 54 and there were spirited efforts from Thompson (31), Zak Wilson (20), Robertson (20), John Wilson (16*) and Cliff Cansdale (16). L.Ollerton was the lead bowler for the hosts with 4-24 while J North pouched 4 catches,

Sprowston sped to their target as the aging Belhus side toiled in the heat. L.Ollerton made 60, J.North 55, T.Keen 50 and T.Ollerton 50 as the home side enjoyed batting on the shirt front pitch. There were wickets for Mike Cansdale and Barry Ruck but Belhus were glad to get out of the heat and into the bar as their tour came to a close after 29.4 overs when the hosts reached their target.
