Match report Belhus entered the steamy couldron of the Old Hall Ground at Ingham to kick off their 2018 summer tour. Batting first, there were runs for Zak Wilson (62), Billy Winter (55) and Jake Wolfe (50). Rogers was the most successful host bowler with 3-45 while skipper Watson and F. Kemp took 2 wickets apiece.

After the traditionally exquisite Norwich tea, in reply, New Zealander Jack Newby hit a sublime 102 before retiring. Watson made 32, Rogers 29 and Stewart-Miles 34. But Belhus plugged away manfully with captain for the day Matt Williams taking 3-47. Despite the infamous ‘bailgate’ incident Belhus were triumphant with Mike Cansdale bowling the pressure overs to see us over the line taking 3-19 as Belhus won by 9 runs.
