Match report On a gorgeous sunny evening under clear blue skies, Belhus visited Basildon and Pitsea at Mopsies Park. Belhus won the toss and elected to bat and they started strongly as openers Teddy Waters and Lewis Blake both retired on exactly 25 runs apiece. Alex Blake (13) and Henry Overy (12) ran well between the wickets to keep the scoreboard moving before Robert Healy showed some powerful striking in his 26 runs before also retiring. Charlie Ovey rounded things off with a quick-fire personal best of 14 not out as Belhus racked up a formidable 160-2 from their 24 overs. Basildon and Pitsea's Charlie H-Doran took the 2 wickets to fall.

In reply, Eustace hit a couple of lusty blows before falling to Izzy Overy for 9, and Callum Constantine snapped up H-Doran for a duck - catches taken by Robert Healy and Ted Waters. Carl Murdoch resisted with a decent knock of 22 for the home side but Belhus were always in control of the run rate. The Blake brothers combined to take 3 wickets between them (Alex 2 for 8 and Lewis 1 for 2) and Henry Overy picked up Murdoch to seal the hosts fate. Belhus winning by a comfortable margin of 64 runs.
