Match report Belhus sealed their position as the West Division Winners of the U13 South Essex District Board League with a dominant win against Orsett and Thurrock Trojans at North Stifford. The visitors batted first and were grateful to Lynden Calvert who carried his bat for 24 as they totalled 82-4 from their 20 overs. Dylan Nastri added 17 not out. Belhus wicket takers were Owen Williams, Callum Constantine, Sammy Fairweather and Billy Kilduff. Aiden Fourie took two good catches and Teddy Waters and Billy Kilduff both pouched one.


Any nagging doubts about a win for Belhus were quickly dispelled by openers Waters and Oliver Plunkett who made batted excellently in adding 51 as a sound opening partnership before both retiring on 25. Charlie Ovey (10 n/o) rounded the match off with Billy Kilduff (5 n/o) as Belhus raced to victory in just 10 overs. Well done boys on winning the division. We will now need to play the East Division runners up in the overall league semi final - date to be advised.
