In the final league match of the season, our 4th XI racked up a respectable total of 195 for 8 and declared after 37 overs. George Maidment was our lead run-scorer and was ably supported by Rob Marlow (37) and John Wilson (31).

After tea, we employed no less than 10 bowlers in our attempt to bowl out the 9-man OSS team as they batted heroically for 44 overs before we eventually dismissed them for 88 to win by 106 runs - thanks to a fine spell of 3 for 8 by Rob Marlow.

And the victory saw the 4th XI finish as Champions of their SNEL Division One East. A fantastic achievement under the skippership of John Wilson who lost just one match throughout the entire season's campaign. Well played Belhus.
