Belhus batted first on a very hot Saturday afternoon and were dismissed for a modest total of 201. James Barber was our lead run-scorer with 54 supported by Barry Ruck with 20.

In the run-chase after tea, Billy Baker bagged 2 wickets from his 8 overs but opener Terry Hurrell struck a fine unbeaten century to steer his side home to a comfortable 7 wickets victory. Well played Horndon.

And after 9 matches into the 2018 season, Horndon-on-the-Hill are perched atop of their SNEL Division while our 4th XI are tucked very close behind in 2nd place.
