Belhus batted first in this seventh league match of the season and posted a respectable total of 191 for 6 after their 40 overs. John Wilson and young Teddy Waters each notched 21 runs and James Barber 20, but it was Rob Marlow who helped us along to a competitive score with a masterly 46 not out.

In their run-chase after tea, OSS were never really in the hunt with only Shahid Hussain (20) reaching double figures as they were dismissed for 44 to lose by 147 runs. All of our bowlers found the right areas with Terry Squires snaring 4 wickets, Paul Whitlock 3 and Cliff Cansdale 2 while Teddy Waters took the remaining wicket to round off a fine all-round performance by him. Our 4th XI remain undefeated this season and are sitting comfortably at the very top of their SNEL Division. Well played team.
