Batting first at North Stifford Village Green, Orsett made their way comfortably to 116-2 but then suffered a major middle-order collapse by losing 6 wickets for 5 runs to fall to 121-8 and were finally dismissed for just 153. All of the Belhus bowlers shared in the wickets in what was a highly proficient performance.

In the run-chase, Belhus lost 2 early wickets, but a masterful 3rd wicket stand of 93 between Matt Doran (55) and Max Osborne (62*), saw their side home to a convincing 7 wickets win.

And the 1st XI now sit in 3rd place in SNEL Division One - 12 points behind the leaders Hutton but with 3 matches of the season still remaining.
