Match report Match three of our 2018 tour of Barbados took us to the famous Wanderers CC, supplier of many West Indian test cricketers. On another stiflingly hot afternoon Belhus were invited to field first. Evelyn and Cadogan made half centuries for the hosts but the tourists produced a noble effort in the tough conditions as Wells (3-19), Heffernan (2-19) and Mohammed (2-25) all bowled well. Wells also took two fine catches as Wanderers made 245 all out.

Following another excellent tea, Belhus batted in continuing oppressive temperatures. Charlie Lewis (43) and Sam Hall (29) opened the batting in fine style striking 12 boundaries between them. John Lewis made a ferocious 38 from just 20 balls with five 4’s and one 6 as Belhus tried to keep pace with the run rate needed. Trotman (4-33) and Emptidge (3-26) kept us in check and despite a decent performance Belhus fell to a third successive defeat in the Bajan cauldron.
