A tough day for Belhus in the Bajan furnace as they were royally second best against superior opposition. Cavaliers racked up a formidable 305 for 9. Skipper Martin Guilbert was the pick of the tourists bowlers with 1-33 from 7 overs including the only maiden of the innings. Mark Sansom made three stumpings as John Wilson and Immy Mohammed picked up two wickets each and there was a wicket and a run out for Matt Williams. Roy Heffernan took a fine tumbling catch as Belhus worked hard in the fierce heat. There were runs throughout the Cav’s card with Ward top scoring with 48.

After another excellent tea, Belhus were soon in trouble losing Mark Sansom and Zak Wilson for ducks. Matt Williams top-scored with 17 and Martin Guilbert made 10 but they were the only double figure scores as Belhus slipped to 68 all out in just 23.1 overs. D.Goodman was the pick of the home attack. His ripping left arm spin securing 4 victims for just 8 runs from his allotted 7 overs.
