In the second round of the National Village Cup, we met Chappel and Wakes Colne CC who batted first and posted a modest total of 146 thanks largely to opener Zak Taylor who struck a fine 78. Billy Winter was the pick of our bowlers, taking 4 for 26 from 5 overs.

In the run-chase after tea, our openers Joe Joyce stroked 60 and Zak Wilson 36, that helped provide us with a 5 wickets win.

We will now meet Suffolk club Worlington CC in the next round - to be played at North Stifford on Sunday 27th May.
