Match report The Belhus Youth tour concluded with a trip on the way home from Norfolk as the party stopped off at Halstead CC. The squad lost Lewis Blake and Rob Healy for this match but welcomed the Barnett family who added three participants to the day and made this match a 12-a-side encounter played across 22 overs.

Belhus batted first and made a modest 98 for 5. Early confusion saw three run outs but Ethan Barnett (15 not out with 3 fours) got the score moving and Ted Waters (18 not out with 2 fours) added late impetus. Ryan Sims and Tyler Robertson made 8 apiece before they also retired. There were wickets for K.Croucher and Sally Winter (guesting for the opposition in her first every 'hard ball' match). Izzy Overy, also with the Belhus party, guested too and made a fine run out. Well done girls.

Belhus knew they had to bowl well to secure a clean sweep for their tour - and duly delivered. Teddy Waters led the way with 2 for 8 and Alex Blake also took the same figures. There were also wickets for Sammy Fairweather, Callum Constantine, Ethan Barnett and Charlotte Waters (who took a caught and bowled). Belhus managed to win by 32 runs to secure a tour 'full house' A great effort by our young players. Thanks for Richard Waters for organising a great week and Claire Wood for her support behind the scenes with the accommodation booking. Thanks too to all the parents and players for making the week so enjoyable.
