Wickford v Belhus Cricket Club Under 11 on Sun 20 Aug 2017 at 9.30am
Belhus Cricket Club Won by 32 Runs
Match report
Belhus U11 completed another fine win in the SEDCB 8 a-side league, winning by 32 runs on a glorious sunny morning at Wickford.
Belhus batted first and did well as Robert Healy (27), Lewis Blake (26), Henry Overy (25) all retired, and Sammy Fairweather (16) and Tyler Robertson (15 not out) made good contributions. Elliott was the most successful Wickford bowler with 2-14.
Belhus showed good standards with the ball too as Zoran Suneel (2-7) and Robertson (1-7) bowled tidily. Skipper Lewis Blake also chipped in with an excellent direct hit run out. McKenna batted nicely for 20 and Owen (24) and Billy (22) did well also, but the tight Belhus attack defended their target well to seal a fine win.
