Match report Belhus edged home in this close fought friendly against our good friends from Goresbrook - winning by the narrowest margin of one run !

Batting first Brian Edwards top scored for Belhus with 57*. Decent contributions were added by Matthew Vallis (30*), Mark Baker (29), Chris Didd (25) and Colin Adams (24) as Belhus totalled 192-5. Atkins was the most successful bowler taking 3 for 23.

In reply, Williamson (74) set the visitors chase underway strongly. Ivey made 36 and the excitement grew as wickets fell at regular intervals. Brian Edwards had the best return for Belhus with 2 for 31. It was Brian who bowled the last over taking the wicket of Schoeman and keeping the target of 10 just out of reach in a fine match.
