Batting first at South Ockendon Recreation Ground, OP were in trouble at 67 for 5. But we failed to capitalise on our position as Gurmit Bhatia and Alan Bouquet carved a 90-runs 6th wicket partnership to take OP to 157 for 5 after their allotted 45 overs.

In our run-chase, Liam Waters (27) batted sensibly, but 5 of our batsmen were dismissed for 'ducks' and we capitulated to 66 all out to lose by 91 runs. Well played OP.

Despite the bad day, our 3rd XI remain top of their SNEL Division with just 4 matches of the 2017 season to be played.
