Match report Gidea Park and Romford posted 235 all out with Pegram and Tarr hitting half centuries. Their knocks were particularly important as the GPR lower order collapsed but the damage had been done. Kenyon (4 for 37) and the two spinners Brad Mason and Deepak Sinha bowled very well but with little luck. Mark Sansom took 3 good catches behind the stumps.

In reply, Belhus collapsed to 48 for 5 in the face of a very impressive opening spell by the left arm over Harry Phillips. At 15 years of age he is a serious prospect.

Belhus recovered slightly to total 133 with skipper Lewis hitting 43 not out, but GPR were by far the better team on the day.
