Match report Batting first on a pitch offering at times low and steep bounce, Belhus struggled to impose themselves on the S.Woodford attack. Early wickets (10 for 2) magnified itself into 90 for 6 even although Jake Wolfe again played a lovely innings of 42, full of cuts, pulls and drives which unfortunately was cut short by a poor run out.

However a fine partnership by Wayne Read (47) and Dale Kenyon (25 not out) who both played fluently, pushed Belhus up to 186 off just 32 overs. Not using up the 14 remaining overs looked like a bad error at tea and the innings closed.

In reply, the Belhus attack rose to the occasion in their best all-round performance of the season. Imran (9 overs 1 for 12) and Dale Kenyon bowled a superb opening spell to have S.Woodford in real trouble. The good work was carried on by Jack Martin-Hussey, Deepak and Mason who snaffled 2 and 3 wickets apiece to scuttle S.Woodford for 148 which was a brilliant performance.

The S.Woodford captain Ali Khan battled well in adversity to post 41, but Belhus got back to winning ways with a very good win.
