In this 13th SNEL match of the season, Woodford Wells batted first and posted a respectable 242 from their allotted 50 overs thanks to steady batting down the order. All of the Belhus bowlers shared the WW wickets to fall.

In reply, a controlled 131-runs third wicket partnership between Joe Joyce (114*) and Ryan Wells (60) saw us home to victory with just 10 balls remaining. Joe carried his bat for his fifth century of the 2017 season and became the leading run-scorer in the entire Shepherd Neame Essex League.
