Dutch international cricketer James Gruijters smashed an undefeated 98 for Chelmsford in this Essex Sunday League Premier Division clash at Chelmer Park. The 23-year-old played one first class match for Holland against Ireland in 2013 and proved to be a thorn in the side for the travelling Belhus team. Earlier, home bowler Liam Kearney bagged four wickets at a cost of 40 runs. However, the match was significant as Joe Joyce reached 1,000 runs for the season, no other Belhus player has reached this milestone so early in the season.
