Match report Belhus Charity Xl played The Chairman's Xl in aid of the St Luke's Hospice.

The Chairmans Xl batted 1st in this 20 over friendly and scored 161 for 8, with batsmen retiring at 25 and going back in if enough wickest fell, the main run scorers were, R.O'Neil and G.Jefferis both not out with 36 and 32, M.Hills 25 r n/o and M.Sansom 16 and N.Marns 12, wickets shared out as all the Charity Xl bowled.

The Charity Xl just knocked the runs off in the last over with a ball to spare in what was a very close game.
Wayne Read with 42 and Roy Heffernan 31 lead the way, both having to go back in to see us home and both ending up not out, along with Danny Joyce 29 helping to the narrowest of wins.

A great day all round and proved to be very successful, as we raised in excess of ££££££, very well done to all for there hard work.
