Belhus Cricket Club Won by 19 Runs

Match report Belhus won a high scoring game at Orsett on a glorious sunny morning. Belhus batted first and scored well. Oliver Plunkett (15) and Alex Blake (11) ran excellently and also shared five boundaries. Henry Overy hit three fours in a swift 16 and Robert Healy made 12 with two fours. As Belhus made 316 netting down to 291-4. Varun was the pick of the the home attack taking 2-21.

Orsett also took advantage of the good batting pitch and swift outfield as Jake (10), Fleming (14) and skipper Issac (23) all made runs but the Belhus attack also had a good day - Sammy Fairweather led the way with two bowled victims as he took 2-2. Reece Herbert and Henry Overy also took a couple of wickets apiece and there were wickets too for Oliver Plunkett, Tyler Robertson and Lewis Blake. Fine catches were held by Alex Blake, Henry Overy and Reece Herbert. It was a good match with both teams playing well.
