Match report Belhus batted first and the opening partnership of Jack Thomas and Jim Robertson put on 166 for the first wicket. Thomas hit a brilliant 108 supported by Robertson (55) to enable skipper Neil Sullivan to declare on 221 for 2.

After tea, Belhus were soon among the Chelmsford batsmen with the bowlers taking wickets at regular intervals. This was aided by some great fielding with Jack Thomas taking 3 catches and Neil Sullivan taking 4 slip catches. Special mention must go out to our two young debutants Oliver Plunkett and Tyler Robertson, who were both among the wickets - well done lads!

Jack Thomas struck his maiden century and set a new club record score by a 5th XI batsman. Well done jack.
