Match report In the 5th XI's first fixture of the season,Belhus captain Neil Sullivan won the toss and bowled first. Some good early bowling tagged Wickford's young team back, backed up by sterling work in the field. Eathan Morris, in his first match behind the stumps, he kept very well taking two catches. Making sure everyone had a bowl, Belhus restricted Wickford to 164-8, helped by a superb 65 by T.Kid in their allotted overs.

After a great tea, Belhus started their innings. Whilst keeping up with the run-rate, Belhus lost a few cheap early wickets. Opener Eathan Morris was in imperious form, scoring his maiden fifty for the club. Well supported by Mark Thomas, Belhus looked favourites until T.Kidd, fresh from his 65 in the Wickford innings, took 4 wickets including a hat-trick to finish the innings and bowl Wickford to victory.

Well done to Wickford and well done to Belhus. Some very good cricket played in the right spirit.
