Match report At Belhus Park for the last Saturday match of the 1972 season, we could only rack up a modest 155 for 6 as Ken Lewis top-scored with 44.

After tea, paceman Andrew Walker took 4 for 48 but his effort didn't prevent Chingford from chasing down the runs quite easily, as opener Layton stroked a fine 98 not out to steer his side home to a comfortable 5 wickets win.
