Match report Batting first in this Essex Foundation T20 match at the Patmore Memorial Ground, Wickford posted a formidable total of 232 as Paul Corps and Dean Etchells shared a 124-runs second wicket partnership with Etchells cracking a brilliant 110 not out.

It was always going to be a tall order for us to chase down such a total, and although Michael Fogg (48) and Joe Joyce (69) put on a 120-runs opening partnership, the Wickford bowlers stuck to their task and secured a comfortable 85-runs win. Well played Wickford.
