Match report Belhus U11 continued their good form with a third successive win at Mopsies Park. Belhus skipper Teddy Waters won the toss and inserted the home side. Belhus bowled well throughout. Alex Blake took two wickets and there were wickets too for Sammy Fairweather, debutant Owen Williams, Kaelen Casey and Teddy Waters. Credit to Alex Blake and Tyler Robertson who both did not bowl a wide - a good effort at this level. Belhus were good in the field also with run outs for Oliver Plunkett and Ryan Sims. Basildon & Pitsea made 255-8 netted down to 215 with Ayres top scoring with 9.

Belhus replied strongly with Oliver Plunkett batting very well to make an unbeaten 23 including 5 fours. Alex Winder made 15 and Kaelen Casey (6*) and Sammy Fairweather (6*) both hit boundaries as Belhus made 301-3 netted down to 286-3 winning by 71 runs. Ayres, Eustance and Northwood all bowled well for Basildon and Pitsea taking a wicket a piece.
