Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 95 Runs

Match report This was a disappointing game for Belhus. A very green, well-grassed pitch suggested a difficult innings for Leigh but wayward bowling (30 wides) allowed Leigh to put on over a hundred for the 1st wicket and once the cat was out the bag, it never returned. The positives were the excellent bowling of Imran(3 for 31), the continuing promise of Braydon Scarlett who once again bowled superbly and Zak Wilson who on debut for the 2s took 2 wickets in his 1st over and 3 for 46 in total. Leigh's final total of 263 was one hundred too many.

In reply, Belhus were soon in trouble after both openers went cheaply. Knocks of 31 by Lewis, 26 by Imran and a fluent, promising 22 by Zak Wilson got Belhus up too 168 but a losing score.

Unavailability at the moment is proving very costly.
