Match report Skipper Danny Joyce led magnificently from the front in registering his first century (109) of the season. And with sensible batting from Liam Wilson (46) and Michael Fogg (34), the 1st XI posted a respectable total of 256 from the allotted 50 overs.

In their run-chase after tea, Iain McDonald (56) and Mark Sexton (49*) batted well for Leigh-on-Sea, but our bowlers and fielders produced one of their better performances of the season to see us home to a comfortable 105 runs win.

And after ten matches of the 2016 season, our 1st XI remain at the top of their SNEL division. Well done team.
