In the opening match of the tour, Terry Lambert Jnr top-scored for us with 44 as we posted a modest total of 144 for 9 in this 35-overs match. Hogan was the lead wicket-taker for the Police side with 5 for 35.

After tea, Jason Caparn bowled superbly in taking 6 for 34 and we dismissed the Police to win quite comfortably by 36 runs.
