Batting first in this Morrant League match, Eton Manor were in a spot of trouble at 106 for 6. but then East and Shazad forged a fighting 7th wicket partnership of 106 to enable their side to declare at 212 after 44 overs.

In our run-chase after tea, opener L. Edwards bowled superbly to take 7 for 18 and 6 (yes, six) of our batsmen were dismissed for 'ducks' as we were bowled out for just 53 to lose by 159 runs. Not one of our better days . . .
